 14May is the day ofcommemorating "Hakim Abolqasem Ferdowsi", the greatest epic writer of Iran and one of the great epic writers of the world. Based on historical statements; May 14th is the day that Ferdowsi finished writing the Shahnameh after 30 years, and that is why today is called the day of commemorating Ferdowsi and preserving the Persian language
