Developments Related to the Cote D’Ivoire in the Tokyo International Conference on Africa Development (TICAD)
The 8th round of the Tokyo International Conference on Africa Development (TICAD) was held on August 27-28 in circumstances that were accompanied by important developments to the Cote D’Ivoire.
The prime minister of the Cote D’Ivoire arrived in Tunisia the venue of the conference on Friday, August 26, and talked with his counterparts, specially the sending delegation from the Japan about the important of the economic situation, food security and the civil development of his country.
During these negotiations, the prime minister of the Cote D’Ivoire managed to received significant financial aid from this agency in order to strengthen his country’s food security. Also in order to access to advanced Japanese techno-environment and using it in Cote D’Ivoire was signed an agreement between the two parties.
The prime minister of the Cote D’Ivoire also announced Japan’s participation in construction projects in Abidjan.
